Profile: Sweet. Balanced. Medium Body. Long Finish.
Coteaux du Layon 2007 Chateau Pierre-Bise, Claude Papin a Beaulieu sur Layon.
This wine has a wonderful brillant straw-golden yellow color.
The nose is very sweet, with an intense honey aroma, associated with a nice cristallized pineapple smell.
This wine has a mellow attack and is medium-bodied and long in mouth.
A very pleasant flavour of onion jam follows the honey flavour, and makes this fresh, sweet wine wonderful with foie-gras or desserts.
