1994 Chateau Montrose (France / Bordeaux / St-Estephe )   Reviewed by: Wilfried Rated: 90 pts   (not blind): Dark ruby, clear, fat tears. Nose like a young but nice Sangiovese, silky, cool moss. Medium body, fine acidity, some red fruit, tannins not very ripe. Medium finish, some tannins with a good deal of acidity. Score: 50 + 4 for optic + 13 for bouquet + 16 for taste + 7 for overall = total score of 90. Not a great wine, a nice bottle anyway.
