ALCOHOL: 14.2%
RATED: 12/30/2005
COLOR: Brick Red.
AROMA: Basement.
FLAVOR: Basement.
PROFILE: Tart. Moderate Tannin.
COMMENTS: It didn't taste bad once you got it past your nose. This one had to be decanted, and had a very strong Basement nose. Like grandma's. The damp earth and mothball type. It was just unpleasant enough to question drinking the wine. However, the wine, while a bit tart, wasn't bad. It was OK. I got another bottle to check it out, and it was like night and day. Just got a bad one.
