COMMENTS: Enticing aromas of rich cherry pie, raspberry preserves and ripe plums with
barrel notes of exotic vanilla, golden molasses and shortbread cookie. Oak
aging rounds out the palate and gives the wine its body. Juicy fruit on the
palate tasting of dark red raspberry, jammy strawberry and baked peaches.
Our 2007 drinks in juicy fresh berry flavors that stay bright and linger. The
finish is full of bright red fruit flavors with a supple texture.

COMMENTS: Very nice, affordable Merlot. Aroma was strong but not overpowering, definet cherry and ripe red fruit, I thought I detected some black current. You notice the tannin on the atack, with an astringent slightly acid feel. The Evolution was fruity with Cherry overtones. I picked up a slight oak tast on the midium finish.

COMMENTS: I liked this C.S. Not overpowering nose, nice up front and smooth across the tongue with a long several note after. It had oak, but not too much. Extremely well balanced and a very pleasant drink. Perfect oak balance. I'd drink it again.
