Very good to briskly seared fois gras, but amazingly also to Jansson's Frestelse. No big deal here but I like the style and this is good enough to have a look at other wines of Confuron-Cotetidot. Critics seem to shun this domain (it may very well be that JCC makes funny faces if he sees a professional taster) but his wines are OK in my
opinion.

Some days ago I received delivery of the first of my two Bordeaux 2000 subscriptions and I decided to pop a bottle today to check the hype. I made a small blind tasting with the Leoville Barton and an Austrian red named "In Signo Leonis", an international style cuvee vintage 2000 from a producer named Bayer as second wine.
